We've had some raccoons getting into our Recycle bin in the backyard. So Brandon built a trap to try and catch them. He put out some crackers as bait and went to bed.
Paul happened to be up late that night and heard some russling around in the backyard. He looked out the back door and low and behold, the raccoons were back. He tried to scare them away, but they are NOT afraid of people anymore. The next morning we went out to check the trap….they got the food, but didn't set off the trap. Darn! It was a good attempt though.
