DISNEYLAND….AGAIN

This was the best day ever. Not only did our whole family get to go to Disneyland together, but we got to go with friends too! It was just SO much fun and I know the kids will remember this awesome day.

We thought everyone would be home celebrating Thanksgiving dinner. But nope…everyone was at Disneyland. But we are Disney pros and know how to work the "Fast passes" so we still got on lots of rides and made the most of the day! The kids did remarkably well and really I don't have any complaints or regrets. It's fun to have them getting a bit older and more independent.

As is Tower of Terror. Carter, being the handsome charismatic little 5 year old that he is, won the Disney employee over and got us front of the line passes to get to go on this ride again! Love that cute boy.

Then we found this adorable indoor Frozen play area. The kids could have stayed here for hours.

The littles were getting tired. They decided they could both sit in the same single stroller at the same time. I'll be saving this for their wedding video!

And of course we ended the day with HyperSpace Mountain. All the kids could ride it and I think everyone loved it…well except maybe Ashlyn. She tries, but I think it was a bit too much for her.

Thanksgiving Dinner

We had Thanksgiving Dinner the day before Thanksgiving on account of the fact that we are going to Disneyland ON Thanksgiving Day. We had it at the Osmond's house with the Nguyen's and I think we pretty much each made enough food for all of us, so I went home with A TON! It made for a great leftoevers though so I did not mind. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!

The kids all had a blast. The adults got to hang out and chat. And we kept it an early night since we would be getting up early for our big Disney day in the morning.

Finally talked Brandon into a haircut. He looks SO handsome.

Met Paul at Dreamworks to see The Peanuts movie one night and snapped a picture of my cute boys.

While I was at Disney, Paul took the day off and got lucky enough to go on a field trip with Leah. They were taking a walking field trip to Chili's as a reward for completing their AR goals and Paul got them this dessert to share. He said he pretty much got…none of it. You can tell from the picture that they were REALLY enjoying it.

I'm taking turns taking each kid out shopping for Christmas gifts for their friends and siblings. I usually do this all at once like at The Dollar Store, but they're all getting older. Plus this gives me a good excuse to get to go out with each kid separately.

And another rare picture of the kids actually helping with chores. Don't get me wrong….they do chores, and they sometimes help me. But it's usually a fight. But for some reason, this day, they were actually willing to help and not only that, but they did chores for each other. I don't know what I did different. They must have just been in a good mood.
