Soccer season has started and this year BOTH boys get to play. Carter was so excited. His games are all at 8:30 in the morning so he was up bright and early, dressed and ready to go play.
The little boy to Carter's left is his friend from his class, Jett. So fun that they get to be together, along with two little boys from our Ward.

Carter is on U5 in AYSO so they don't play real games. They practice and learn soccer technique the first 30 minutes and then play scrimage games the next 30 minutes. Carter still takes his game very seriously and is quite a fast little guy. His favorite thing to do, of course, is to score goals!
Brandon is still playing with Richard Rioux Park. We kind of got jipped (again) this year and his team is super small. There are only 6 kids while the other two teams have at least 10. And of course Brandon's team had a double header the first day in 100 degree heat. With such a small team, that means all kids on his team play the entire time. Brandon was dying he was so hot, but he gave it his all. He scored three goals the first game and helped his team win. The second game he just couldn't keep up and they lost. But he still worked super hard and I was so proud of him for getting out there and doing his best!
We celebrated with some Wendy's on the way home!
Nothing like a frosty to help cool you off after a super hot day in the sun.
Meanwhile, Leah got invited to go to Medieval Times with her bestie, Gracie. She is one lucky girl. I've always wanted to go there. She didn't quite know what to think about it all, having never been or anything, but I think they both had a great time even though their knight didn't win.
They at least had a lot of fun eating with their fingers.
