Good news, Bad news
To all my Utah Blogging friends out there, I have some good news for you and some bad news for me. My mom is moving to Utah. And while I have been crying my eyes out about her leaving me, I have also been trying to find the silver lining in all of this. All I've found, so far, is that I will be finding myself in Utah much more often than I have been in the last 5 years since we've moved. SO watch out Utah friends, I just might be showing up at your doorstep for a visit before the year is over!

Oops
I took my camera to my friends house to get pictures of the girls playing with their favorite little buddy, and this was all I came home with. Pictures of little Brandon. Oops. But I thought Grammy and PopPop would appreciate this photo. He's wearing his Iowa onsie and even sporting his "John Deere" socks (unfortunately you can only see a tiny bit of them). I thought they went well together.

Quote for the Day

On another note, my little boy is not so little anymore. I know I keep saying this, but I really can't believe how fast he is growing. Here's a shot of him sleeping in his carseat. He's already filling the thing out. He's such a cutie though and we love him to pieces.
Look at those cute lips. I just want to smooch them!
This is a classic Brandon smirk. He is starting to smile more, but it's been hard to capture on camera. This is the best I could get.

1. Being on time. I absolutely HATE being late. Although my children sometimes don't give me the option to be on time, so I'm learning to deal with it.
2. Cookies. I love them. I can't keep myself away from them. They are currently keeping me from goal #2.
3. (hm...can't think of anything else. I'm sure there are plenty, but I'm at a loss for the moment and my baby is starting to cry, so I need to finish this thing up.)

1. I worry obsessively. If there is something to worry about, or even if there isn't, I will worry about it.
2. I didn't even know BYU or "Ricks" existed until I was a teenager. And I never stepped foot in Utah until I was 18 years old (which is kind of weird if you are Mormon.)
3. I'm still mourning the cancelation of Veronica Mars. *sigh* I loved that show!

Father's Day and Kids
After a fun Father's Day, Daddy and Brandon relaxed a little by watching the Basketball game together. Ah....the beginning of years and years of basketball games together. (although I think Brandon was looking at me in this picture. Sorry Daddy.)

No, no, no
I'm SO not ready for this. (Luckily, she didn't really go and she cooperated and put her diaper back on. With panties over the top.) I told her we'll start in the Fall when Ashlyn starts Kindergarten. Whew, the thought of it makes me tired.
Oh, and I got a new bedroom set too. You might be thinking I'm quite spoiled these days. Well, yes, that is partly true. But not so much if you knew that we previously had NO headboard or curtains, my nightstand was a screw together table bought for $15.00 at Target when we got married, and Paul's nightstand consisted of two cardboard boxes full of food storage. (Now we just need a bigger room. Maybe in a house even. I won't hold my breathe. In the meantime, I am LOVING my new room.)
